San kyu - Hidari Kesa and Migi Kesa cut at forty-five degrees to pass.

Ni kyu - Kesa/Gyaku Kesa from both sides cut at forty-five degrees to pass.

Ik kyu - Godan giri, at foty-five degrees and suehei cut flat to pass.

Dan Ranks Graded by: Hataya Sensei (shizenkai)

Shodan - Rokudangiri (six perfect cuts at forty-five degrees and flat suehei)

Nidan - Yokonarabi, Inazuma, Namigiesh
